EDMOND, OK – Emergency services north of Oklahoma City have reported injuries resulting from a rush-hour collision near Edmond Friday evening.

According to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker, the collision occurred within the 19100 block of North Western Avenue near Northwest 191st Street shortly before 6:00 p.m.

Information regarding the number of vehicles involved in the crash or the severity of injuries sustained as a result has yet to be made available. Officials have advised commuters to avoid the area throughout Friday night as delays and closures are likely.
