Man dies following fatal industrial accident on S Sunnyland Rd

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An industrial accident on the 6800 block of South Sunnyland Rd took a worker’s life Monday, KOCO reports.

The victim was removing overhead piping in a scissor lift 30 ft above the ground when he became pinned between two pipes. Firefighters were called to the scene around 8:25 a.m.

Authorities may release the identity of the victim once their next of kin have been notified. The incident is currently under investigation.
