Man dies following weekend crash in Mustang

MUSTANG, OK – Officials in Mustang are investigating the cause of a collision that left one man dead near Mustang Road Sunday night.

According to KFOR, the incident occurred near State Highway 152 and Mustang Road. Witnesses say the driver of a silver Pontiac was traveling at a high rate of speed when it collided with both an orange Jeep and then a utility pole.

The driver of the Pontiac was pronounced dead at the scene. His female passenger was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

The single occupant in the Jeep refused transport and was picked up by another individual.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the crash.
