Man facing multiple charges after fleeing police in stolen vehicle in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A man is facing charges after he attempted to elude a police chase and abandoned a stolen vehicle in Tulsa early this morning, according to News on 6.

The chase began near the intersection of 61st Street and 33rd W Avenue as suspect John Naylor was spray painting a vehicle. When confronted by police, he drove away from the scene.

The chase wound through Tulsa and Creek Counties, and only stopped when Naylor got out of the car and ran across the highway, leaving the vehicle behind.

He was eventually apprehended by authorities and is facing multiple charges, including eluding police, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
