Man hospitalized after getting stuck in conveyor system

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Firefighters in Oklahoma City worked to free a man whose arm became stuck in a conveyor system at a local scrap yard Thursday.

According to Fox 25, the incident occurred at Standard Iron and Metal Co. on Reno Avenue.

Firefighters say the unidentified man was stuck up to his shoulder. Trauma surgeons were called to the scene to decide the safest way to extricate the man from the machine.

The unidentified man was sent to a local hospital for further treatment. His condition is unclear at this time.
