OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was injured on Friday evening in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on Oklahoma Highway 74 following an act of reckless driving, according to Enid News.
At 5:57 p.m., Enid man Evan Downey, 35, popped a wheelie while driving a 2016 Ducati Hypermotard, and then lost control of the motorcycle. He was admitted to the hospital in stable condition due to leg injuries. Downey was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash occurred six miles south of Crescent in Logan County on OK-74.
The cause of the crash was listed as “reckless driving,” according to a police report.
