Man Killed By Wrecking Ball Identified

The man who was injured by a wrecking ball has been identified, a February 27 article of KXII reported.

He was identified as 29-year-old John Childress. He died after a wrecking ball came loose and struck him on 2:45 PM, at a ranch in the northern part of Johnston County. He was working for R.B. Construction and Metal Fabrication, LLC. which was hired to move silos at a private property on Burnett Road. First responders tried to revive him, but he was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.
