Member Of Lawton Police Dead After Car Crash

A long-time member of the Lawton Police Department passed away after his vehicle crashed, a January 20 article of KOCO News 5 reported.

70-year-old Claude H. Brazzel was driving his 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck before 11:00 AM on Southeast 165th Street when it went off the road. Then, it struck a ditch and smashed through a fence and some trees. The incident left Brazzel dead at the scene. Oklahoma Highway Patrol is looking into the cause of the crash.

Claude H. Bezzel had been with the police department since the 70s and had been a well-known member of the community.
