Moore Officer On Administrative Leave Due To Fatal Crash Involvement

A police officer was placed on administrative leave after his involvement in a crash that killed a high school senior, a January 2 article of Oklahoma’s News 4 reported.

Emily Gaines was driving northbound on Sooner Road and was heading to 134th when she was hit by another vehicle, killing her. It was driven by off-duty Moore Police officer Kyle Lloyd. He was sent to the hospital and was released. However, he was placed on administrative leave as investigations were ongoing. Police suspect that speed may have been a factor in the crash.
