Motorcyclist dies after crash with car on May Ave in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A man died late Thursday night after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the Jackson neighborhood of southwest Oklahoma City, reports News9.

Oklahoma City Police said the accident happened in the area of Southwest 15th Street and South May Avenue.

A preliminary investigation found the man was riding a motorcycle northbound on May Avenue at a high rate of speed when he hit the back of a car.

The rider died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed authorities.

No further details have been made available at this time, but no other injuries were reported.

Investigators said the other driver was not found at fault in the fatal wreck.
