Motorcyclist injured in crash off I-40 bridge near Midwest City

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK — One person was injured Tuesday afternoon when their motorcycle crashed off an Interstate 40 bridge near Midwest City, according to KFOR.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene at Southeast 29th Street shortly after 4:05 p.m.

Officials said the motorcyclist struck and went over a retaining wall on I-40. The victim fell several feet before landing onto SE 29th Street below.

Multiple agencies, including Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Mid-Del fire crews, police officials, and medics, were at the scene.

A photo taken at the site shows the patient being treated, but the severity of their condition remains undisclosed.
