Multi-vehicle crash involving semi-trucks shuts down Will Rogers Turnpike

MAYES COUNTY, OK –  A multi-vehicle crash involving semi-trucks shut down the westbound lane of the Will Rogers Turnpike in Mayes County on Monday morning, reports News on 6.

The incident happened on the stretch of the turnpike between Claremore and Big Cabin sometime Monday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a semi-truck collided with a brush hogger and then another semi-truck rear ended the first one.

Both westbound lanes were blocked for a while until emergency crews cleared the area.
