Multi-vehicle crash on I-44 leads to lane closures and traffic delays

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A multi-vehicle collision on I-44 led to multiple lane closures and traffic delays this afternoon in Oklahoma City, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on northbound I-44, near NW 36th Street at about 1 p.m., when multiple vehicles collided.

Between two and three lanes were blocked as a result of the crash.

It is unclear at this point what led to the accident, or if anyone was injured.
