Multiple people arrested following Tulsa police pursuit and crash

TULSA, OK – Three people were arrested following a police pursuit that ended in a collision east of downtown Tulsa Monday.

According to News on 6, the incident began as a result of a domestic assault that occurred in an apartment complex. Following the assault, a white car took off. Police chased the suspect for several blocks until it collided with another vehicle near the intersection of East 8th Street and South Peoria Avenue.

One bystander was injured in the collision. They were taken to a local hosptial to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers arrested the driver and passengers for obstruction and other warrants. This portion of Peoria was closed down for a few hours immediately following the crash but has since been reopened.
