Multiple people displaced in OKC apartment fire after stove left on

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Multiple people were driven from their homes after an apartment building caught fire in northwest Oklahoma City last night, according to KOCO News.

The blaze occurred at a one-story apartment building located near Ann Arbor Avenue and NW 42nd Street. The incident likely began as a cooking fire when a resident forgot to turn off the stove, according to the report.

The six to eight apartments contained within the small building were all damaged in the fire.

No injuries were immediately reported.

The blaze remains under investigation at this time.
