OHP responds to injury semi crash on I-40 near west El Reno

CANADIAN COUNTY, OK — At least one person was injured Friday afternoon in a wreck involving a semi-truck on Interstate 40 near west El Reno, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred on the westbound interstate at mile marker 113, east of South Maple Road in Calumet.

It remains unclear at this time what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved, but both westbound lanes were blocked as a result.

The OHP has not released any details regarding the condition of those hurt.
