OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in Oklahoma City are investigating the cause of a large duplex fire that occurred south of downtown early Tuesday morning.

According to KFOR, the report of a large fire near the intersection of Southeast 44th Street and Shields Boulevard came in at about 3:10 a.m. Crews believe the fire may have been intentionally set as it grew very fast at extraordinarily high temperatures.

All of those living in the duplex were able to escape without any injuries. One occupant believes they have information on who may have started the fire.

The investigation is ongoing and we will provide more information as it is made available by Oklahoma City Police.
