Oklahoma City firefighters rescue teen at Overholser Dam

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Divers and firefighters in Oklahoma City reduced a teenager in distress near the Overholser Dam Thursday morning.

According to News 9, emergency crews noticed a 17-year-old male without a lifevest holding an object near the dam and jumped into action. The teen was safely pulled from the water and treated at the scene.

An investigation into why the individual was trapped in the water is underway. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
