Oklahoma City holds vigil for hit-and-run victim

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A vigil was held Sunday night for a woman who died last week in a hit-and-run collision in western Oklahoma City.

News 9 reported that 49-year-old Percilla Cheadle was crossing North Rockwell Avenue when she was hit by a Chevrolet pickup truck. The driver fled the scene and Cheadle was taken to a hospital, where she died on Wednesday night.

There have been no arrests in the case.

Cheadle’s family friend said to News 9, “Nothing’s going to be the same without her.”
