One dead after drowning in Keystone Lake

PAWNEE COUNTY, OK – A man from Oklahoma City has died after drowning in a lake near Tulsa when he fell off of a pontoon boat Tuesday.

The Army Corps of Engineers recovered the body of Jerrel Warrick, 58, from Keystone Lake just before 4:00 p.m.

According to KFOR, Warrick was attempting to throw the anchor over the edge of the boat when he slipped into the lake at 3:15 p.m. Witnesses threw him a flotation device but Warrick was unable to reach it before the waves swept him under the water.

We will continue to follow this story and provide any further details as they are made available.
