One dead, four injured in seven-vehicle collision in Creek Co.

KELLYVILLE, OK (CREEK COUNTY) – A man died and four people were injured last night in a multi-vehicle collision in Creek County, according to Tulsa World.

The crash happened at about 6:40 p.m. on Oklahoma Highway 66, near Slick Road, when a 2005 Honda Accord and six Harley-Davidson motorcycles crashed.

59-year-old motorcyclist Gary South, of Tulsa, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 29-year-old driver of the Accord, also from Tulsa, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, as was another of the motorcyclists. Another of the riders was taken in for the treatment of non-critical injuries, and an additional motorcyclist was treated at the scene with minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
