EDMOND, OK – A woman was killed during a two-vehicle rollover crash in Edmond last night, according to KFOR.
This is an update to a previous story.
The crash occurred on I-35, near 2nd Avenue and E Danforth Road, at about 6:15 p.m., when two drivers attempted to merge into the same lane.
The two vehicles swerved out of the way, but one of them rolled over the side of the highway as a result of the sharp motion.
The driver of the overturned vehicle was ejected during the crash, and was taken to the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
A passenger in the same vehicle, Jana Marchant, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was not reported as hurt.
