Pedestrian critically injured in Chisolm Creek collision

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian was seriously injured last night when he was struck by a vehicle at an intersection in northern Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma News 4 reports that the collision occurred at NW 115th Street and N Western Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday. The driver who struck the pedestrian says that he did not see the man stepping into the street until it was too late to stop. His cell phone was not working, but he was able to flag down a nearby police officer for assistance.

Paramedics rushed the injured pedestrian to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
