Pedestrian critically injured in hit-and-run crash on SW 59th St

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian was severely injured after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Southwest 59th Street early this morning, according to information from KFOR.

The crash happened near the intersection of SW 59th St and S Agnew Avenue at around 12:45 a.m., when a driver collided with a male pedestrian. The driver then fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of critical injuries.

Authorities continue to search for the suspect driver and their vehicle. Those with information on the crash are asked to contact the Oklahoma City Police at 405-297-1000.
