Pedestrian critically injured on Hwy 412 near Gilcrease Museum Rd

TULSA, OK – A pedestrian was struck while walking on the westbound ramp of Hwy 412 near Gilcrease Museum Rd Tuesday, News on 6 reports.

The driver told police she attempted to avoid striking a man walking in the road but was unable to swerve out of the way in time. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

Following the collision, the woman called for help from a nearby convenience store. She cooperated with the police after they arrived and voluntarily submitted a blood test.

Officers are still on the lookout for the other pedestrian that was walking with the victim.
