Pedestrian dead after being struck by two drivers in SW OKC hit-and-run

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian was killed in southwest Oklahoma City last night after being struck by two drivers, one of whom fled the scene, according to KFOR News.

The accident happened at the intersection of Kentucky and SW 59th at about 10:35 p.m., when a male pedestrian was struck by a driver who then fled the scene.

A second driver attempted to avoid hitting the victim, but was unable to stop in time and collided with him as well. The victim was then trapped beneath the vehicle and died of his injuries.

The second driver remained at the scene after the collision.

The identities of the victim and driver were not immediately released.

Authorities are searching for security footage from nearby businesses as they attempt to identify the hit-and-run driver and investigate the crash.
