Pedestrian fatally struck by pickup in Creek County

SAPULPA, OK (CREEK COUNTY) – A pedestrian was killed yesterday after being struck by a vehicle on I-44 in Creek County, according to KFOR.

The accident occurred on westbound I-44, near the exit ramp for W 56th Place S, at about 8:25 a.m.

63-year-old Russell Davis was struck by the driver of a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck, a man from Tulsa.

Davis died of massive injuries sustained during the crash.

The exact circumstances of the accident have not been revealed, though the weather is not considered to have been a factor.
