Pedestrian hit, injured by driver on Northwest Expy near Warr Acres

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person was hurt early Tuesday in a pedestrian crash on Northwest Expressway near north Warr Acres, according to KOCO.

Oklahoma City Police responded to the scene near the intersection with MacArthur Boulevard, in an area northwest of Oklahoma City. The crash was first reported shortly after 4:00 a.m.

Authorities have not shared details on the circumstances behind the incident, but first responders treated the victim at the scene. It was unclear whether the patient required transport to a hospital, but they were expected to recover from their injuries.

The driver remained at the site and cooperated with an investigation.

As of this writing, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
