Pedestrian injured in SW OKC hit-and-run

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision in southwest Oklahoma City yesterday evening, News 9 reports.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Southwest 42nd Street and May Avenue at about 8 p.m. Tuesday. Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, including broken bones. Fortunately, the individual is expected to survive.

Authorities continue to search for the Honda Civic they believe was involved in the accident.
