Pedestrian killed in NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was killed early Monday morning when she was hit by a car at the intersection of Northwest Expressway and Linn Avenue.

KFOR reports that emergency responders were at the scene by 2 a.m. They pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Authorities believe that a vehicle hit her as she stepped off the curb and into the roadway. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

It is not clear whether an investigation is ongoing.
