Pedestrian struck by vehicle near SW 53rd St. and Walker Ave.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian was sent to the hospital after being struck by a motorist at a busy Oklahoma City intersection Saturday afternoon.

According to KFOR, the unidentified pedestrian was struck while at about 5 p.m. while walking in the area of Southwest 53rd Street and Walker Ave.

The driver responsible for the crash fled the scene but was pursued by a witness who convinced them to return.

The victim’s condition remains unclear as of Monday night.
