Pedestrian struck, killed after running into traffic in southwest OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One man was killed after he ran into the lanes of traffic near a busy southwest Oklahoma City intersection Tuesday night.

According to KOCO, the man was struck at about 9 p.m. when he ran into the lanes of traffic along Southeast 59th Street near the intersection with Villa Avenue.

The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead upon the authorities’ arrival. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation.

No charges have been filed in connection to the crash at this time.
