Person hospitalized with burn injuries after home explodes in Seminole

SEMINOLE, OK – One person was airlifted to the hospital in Oklahoma City after a home caught fire in Seminole on Friday night, according to KOKH and the Seminole Fire Department.

One person, whose identity has yet to be released, was pulled from the single-story home by bystanders before fire officials arrived at the scene.

The victim was airlifted to the hospital in Oklahoma City for the treatment of burn injuries of undisclosed severity.

The cause of the fire was not immediately available, though fire officials stated that leaking gas was not an issue in the neighborhood.

The blaze remains under investigation.
