Police arrest suspect for hit-and-run in Broken Arrow

BROKEN ARROW, OK – A woman has been arrested for a hit-and-run Thursday morning, reports News on 6.

The hit-and-run occurred at the intersection of West Los Angeles Street South and South Elm St early Thursday morning.

Kylah Pumphrey struck a bicyclist and, according to witnesses, continued driving to a nearby Wal-Mart afterwards. Pumphrey told police she did not stop after the accident because she was scared.

Pumphrey was arrested for leaving the scene of an injury collision and for driving without a license.

The victim was hospitalized and remains in critical condition.
