Police chase leads to collision near SW 44th and Santa Fe

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A police chase early Monday ended with a truck crashing into an Oklahoma City home.
KFOR reported the chase began near Southwest 29th Street and Robinson. During the pursuit, the police lost the suspect. When searching in a nearby neighborhood, they discovered the driver’s truck which crashed into a home near Southwest 44th and Santa Fe. The driver was not in the vehicle at the time.
According to OKC Fox 25, police found a handgun and a social security card belonging to Eric Thompson. Police believe he is their suspect.
The accident left severe damage to the home. The resident spoke with FOX 25 to say she recently lost her job due to the pandemic and was quarantined with COVID.
