OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police say the driver involved in a single-vehicle accident near Will Rogers World Airport Friday was driving drunk at the time of the crash, reports News on 9.
According to officials, the driver was traveling on Southwest 89th Street when he ran a stop sign and crashed the vehicle into a ditch at the dead-end near South MacArthur Boulevard.
Another motorist tailing the driver called 911 to report the accident.
The suspect sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police say the driver will be arrested after being released from the hospital.
