Police pursuit ends when suspect crashes into Moore water treatment plant

MOORE, OK – A police pursuit from Norman to Moore ended when a driver crashed into a water treatment plant on Thursday, according to KFOR.

The accident happened on Interstate 35 in Norman Thursday afternoon after officials received multiple calls regarding an erratic driver.

The suspect refused to pull over after an attempted traffic stop, which led to a chase down the interstate with speeds reaching over 100 miles per hour.

The chase ended when the suspect crashed his Nissan into the gate of a waste-water treatment plant in Moore.

The suspect, who was not publicly identified, was brought to the hospital for treatment before being taken into police custody.
