Right lane of I-44 east temporarily blocked by collision

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The right lane of Interstate 44 east was temporarily closed Monday morning following a collision near the Southwest 89th Street interchange.

KOKH Meteorologist Chip Maxham tweeted about the accident at 7:21 a.m., showing debris in the roadway and three vehicles: a pickup truck, a sedan, and a dump truck, though it is unclear if all were involved.

At this time, it is not clear what caused the accident or whether anyone was injured.
