Rush-hour collision causes delays on I-40

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Fire crews in west Oklahoma City were called to the scene of a collision with injuries along I-40 Monday evening.

The accident was reported just before 5:30 p.m. within the eastbound lanes of the interstate near the South Meridian Avenue overpass, according to the Oklahoma city response and accident tracker.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, at least one person was reportedly injured as a result.No further information regarding the extent of their injuries has been made available at this time.
