Rush-hour crash closes lanes on I-44

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were forced to close off a portion of Interstate 44 early Monday morning following a collision.

According to the Official Oklahoma Highway Patrol Twitter page, the accident occurred along I-44 eastbound near the exit to Pennsylvania Avenue just before 7:30 a.m.

No injuries were sustained as a result of the collision. However, the crash blocked off at least one lane along I-44 while it could be safely investigated and cleared from the roadway.
