TULSA, OK –  Police in Tulsa believe a drunk driver is to blame for causing a tractor-trailer carrying a dangerous chemical to overturn on US-75 Wednesday.

According to Fox 23 Tulsa, the accident occurred along the freeway near the I-44 interchange.

Police say the unidentified driver of a passenger vehicle made an unsafe maneuver causing the tractor-trailer to lose control and overturn, spilling liquid nitrogen across the roadway.

It is unclear whether the suspect actually struck the truck or not at this time. However, they were taken into custody at the scene.

The roadway was shut down for several hours while emergency crews worked to clear the area.
