OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A semi-truck crash was reported Monday afternoon on Meridian Avenue near the Lakeview area of northwest Oklahoma City, reports News9.

The collision occurred near the intersection with Northwest Expressway (Oklahoma 9), shortly after 3:00 p.m.

Details are limited at this time, but officials said the semi slammed into a power pole. Footage captured at the scene shows the pole damaged and pulled down toward the roadway.

Meridian Avenue, which had only one lane open due to an ongoing resurfacing project, was completely closed during the emergency response.

No injuries were reported, but the road was expected to remain blocked for an extended time.
