Seminole man killed in single-vehicle rollover crash near Shawnee

EARLSBORO, OK (POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY) – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 9 in Pottawatomie County early yesterday morning, according to information from OKC FOX.
The collision happened near Earlsboro, east of Shawnee, at around 3 a.m. on OK-9 near Chambers Road, when a driver headed westbound ran off the side of the road. The vehicle then crashed into a stop sign before going airborne over a creek bed. Finally, the vehicle crashed into an embankment and overturned.
The driver, 59-year-old Seminole resident Kevin Kincade, died at the scene.
Authorities believe he was not wearing his seatbelt when the collision happened. Their investigation, however, continues at this time.
