Several lanes blocked after early-morning crash on I-35

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol shut down several lanes along I-35 following an early morning crash on Sunday.

According to a tweet by OHP, the accident occurred at about 3:48 a.m. within the southbound lanes of I-35 near the I-240 overpass.

It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash at this time. However, troopers blocked three southbound lanes for nearly an hour while emergency crews worked at the scene.

No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash at this time.
