OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were forced to block several lanes along the John Kilpatrick Turnpike following a single-vehicle crash Friday morning.
According to OHP, the accident took place at about 10:19 p.m. within the northbound lanes of the interstate near US Highway 66.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. However, the driver involved struck a light pole, knocking it down across the roadway.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash. Drivers have been advised to avoid the area as delays are likely into Friday afternoon.
