One arrested after a Tulsa police pursuit ends in crash

TULSA, OK – A Tulsa man was arrested following a pursuit and subsequent crash near the Rose Hill Cemetery early Thursday morning.

The chase began shortly before 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of East Admiral Place and North Yale Avenue, according to News 9. The driver of a Ford F-250 pickup truck sped away when officers attempted to pull them over for driving erratically.

The chase ended a few blocks away when the driver turned onto Pine Avenue and collided head-on with another driver.

The suspect, who has been identified as Terry Wilhelm, was arrested immediately following the crash. Fortunately, the other driver involved in the crash did not sustain any significant injury.

Injuries reported in downtown OKC crash

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency Services in downtown Oklahoma City reported injuries resulting from a rush-hour collision Thursday evening.

The crash occurred within the intersection of Southeast K Gaylord Boulevard and West Reno Avenue just before 5:30 p.m., according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker. 

Officials have not yet reported the number of injuries resulting from the crash or the circumstances leading up to the collision.
