The woman, who was pregnant during that time, succumbed to her injuries weeks later after being admitted to a hospital. 2 workers dead in Tulsa Hills crash

Two workers on duty in Tulsa Hills were killed recently after a vehicle driven by a suspected impaired driver crashed into them, KJRH reported on April 28.

According to Officer Craig Heatherly, the two construction workers were fixing a traffic light at 71st Street when an 18-year-old driver’s vehicle diverted into the grass, hit a cement slab, and went airborne. Ronnie Blagg Jr., 46, was pronounced dead almost immediately after being struck. His coworker Mike Turner, 48, succumbed to death after he was rushed to the hospital. The teenager told investigators that he ingested pills prior to the fatal accident. Officials are waiting for medical results to confirm the type and amount of drugs in the teen’s system. The young driver is expected to be taken into custody within the next few months, Heatherly said.
