1 person critically injured, another hurt in 3-vehicle crash on I-40

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people were injured today, one of them seriously, in a multi-vehicle collision in central Oklahoma City, according to News 9.

The accident occurred near the interchange between westbound I-40 and I-44 this afternoon when three vehicles collided.

A man was rescued from the accident and taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe, life-threatening injuries.

Another person, a victim from a different vehicle than the first, was also taken in to be treated for non-critical injuries.

The accident caused authorities to close the roadways in the area for nearly an hour and a half.

Their investigation continues into the crash at this time.

Injuries reported in early morning crash on I-44

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol have reported at least one injury resulting from a collision on I-44 early Monday morning.

According to the official Twitter page of the OHP, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Kelley Avenue shortly before 7 a.m.

Details regarding the cause of the crash or the severity of injuries sustained as a result have not yet been released. We will continue to monitor this developing story for any pertinent information should it become available.

Early morning rush hour crash in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma City Highway Patrol responded to a collision on an Interstate 35 off-ramp that slowed early morning traffic Wednesday.

The accident occurred just before 7:00 a.m. near the Classen Boulevard off-ramp, according to the Oklahoma City Highway Patrol Twitter page.

Officials were forced to block off part of the roadway while the accident could be cleared. No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash. However, the closed lane caused traffic delays until it was cleared at about 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
