Bernard Pierce recently was cut from the Ravens after he was apprehended for drunk driving, koco.com reported.

On March 17, the 24-year-old running back was initially pulled over for speeding, but after engaging with Pierce, police claimed they had reason to believe he was intoxicated. The football player was later arrested and booked at Towson Precinct after failing a field sobriety test. Pierce is the third player to be recently cut from the team over conduct issues.

Woman busted after crashing into police car

A woman in Tulsa, Oklahoma was arrested after she got involved in an accident, News On 6 reported on January 13.

According to reports, the accident happened at around 10:00 p.m. on the southern portion of Sheridan Road. An officer reportedly responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a police car. Police said vehicle driver Joyce Darlene O’Donnell, 65, had a smell of alcohol on her breath and she nearly fell from her vehicle. A charge of misdemeanor intoxicated driving was filed against O’Donnell.

Chicago Bears cornerback arrested

Tim Jennings was released from jail after being arrested and charged with drunk driving in Atlanta, an article on ajc.com stated January 7.

Reports said the 31-year-old cornerback for the Chicago Bears was stopped by a police officer on Interstate 85 at around 11:00 a.m. after he was observed driving 99 mph in a 65 mph zone. Police Corporal Jake Smith said several charges were filed against Jennings including DUI and reckless driving. Jennings settled a bond of $2,711 shortly after the arrest. The National Football League is expected to discipline Jennings.

Man charged with manslaughter in DUI crash

A man in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was charged with two counts of first degree manslaughter after being involved in an accident last year that killed a pregnant woman, News 9 reported on August 29.

Authorities arrested Matthew Imotichey after evidence surfaced that proved he was intoxicated last October 23 when he struck a vehicle driven by Tonia Pando, 21. The woman, who was pregnant during that time, succumbed to her injuries weeks later after being admitted to a hospital. Investigations showed that Imotichey, 25, struck Pando’s vehicle head on after crossing the median lane. The suspect is held at Gavin County Jail on a bond of $50,000.
