2 killed following Comanche County crash

COMANCHE COUNTY, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are investigating a collision that resulted in the death of two people Saturday.

According to News 9, the accident occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m. within the intersection of Southeast 135th Street and Southeast Bishop Road near Lawton.

Police say 19-year-old Caden Rowe was traveling westbound in a Chevrolet pickup truck when he ran a stop sign and struck a Chevrolet Silverado in the intersection.

Two occupants of the Silverado, Eric Gutierrez, 35 and Isaura Cabrera, 34 were both pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Two children in the vehicle were rushed to OU Medical Center and are in fair condition.

Officials believe Rowe was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was also transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.
